Jess Hunter, LCSW
She/Her/Hers
You are the expert on you and your family. This may be hard to recognize sometimes because of things that have happened in your past or because there may be experiences that are impacting you more than you realize. Or, you may have a child who feels overlooked or misunderstood. Because only you are experiencing your life, I am here to assist you in making changes in areas you identify to better fulfill your goals. I work with adolescents, adults, and families to help you navigate through communication, anxiety, trauma, and depression. I have experience with the LGBTQ+ population and am certified in writing letters for gender affirming medical care.
I have helped teens and their families in their homes, schools and in the community. I believe the key to strengthening any relationship is communication and trust. Sometimes it’s not easy to convey your thoughts and emotions and it’s beneficial to have a third party help you. I hope I can be the guide to strengthen your relationships and provide support.
Seeking therapy is a courageous step towards leading a happier and more fulfilling life. It takes strength to show vulnerability and I believe anyone can change if they have the desire to. I’m here to help guide you to build on your strengths and achieve your goals.
